Field-tested bidding for excavation, grading & underground utility work.

We did not just build software. We built the tool we wished we had when we were bidding dirt work in the field.

Our Story

From the job site to the cloud.

ProfitDig started with a simple frustration: bidding dirt work was too hard, and knowing if you were actually making money on a grading or excavation job was even harder. Spreadsheets were messy, and enterprise software built for general contractors did not speak the language of cubic yards, linear feet, or invert elevations.

From clearing and grubbing to final grade, from storm drain installs to water and sewer mainlines, we built ProfitDig around the way dirt work actually gets bid and tracked in the field.

We decided to change that. We combined decades of excavation, grading, and underground utility experience with modern technology to create a platform that is powerful enough for big jobs but simple enough to use on an iPad in your truck.

Today, excavation, grading, and underground utility contractors across the country use ProfitDig to bid billions of dollars in dirt work, secure in the knowledge that they know their numbers.

Our Core Values

Precision

In construction, an inch can cost thousands. We believe your data should be just as precise as your builds.

Integrity

We don't hide fees or lock you into contracts. We treat our customers the way we want to be treated.

Simplicity

If it takes a manual to figure out, it's too complicated. Software should work for you, not the other way around.
